The new members of the LÜTZE power supplies family Compact, powerful, compatible!

At the Hanover Messe, the specialist automation firm Friedrich Lütze of Weinstadt, Germany presented power supplies tailored for very specific requirements. For example two- and three-phase versions for worldwide use, space-saving versions with extremely narrow widths as little as 55 mm, or enclosed models according to IP 65 for use in harsh industrial environments. Lütze offers a special power supply for building wiring installations, i.e. for fitting in fuse boxes. All power supplies are primary switched-mode, offer large power reserves, a PFC (Power Factor Correction), have a wide range input with AC / DC supply, and can can be used in redundant operation.

The technical highlights of the new LÜTZE power supplies include a high efficiency of 94%, with minimum power dissipation and heating. When it comes to safety, the power supplies feature integrated input and overload protection and overvoltage and current limiters.

LÜTZE offers the new power supplies in a wide variety of designs: For example the single-phase 120 watt power supply unit 722794, that can be supplied with 90-264 V AC or 110-300 V DC. The special feature of this power supply unit is its enclosed construction (according to IP 65) for use in harsh conditions. Thus it can be used for example as decentralised power supply outside of a control cabinet. One of the strong points of the two-phase 120 watt switching power supply 722983 is its extremely narrow width of just 55 mm. And the new single-phase 240 watt power supply 722785 is just 63.5 mm wide - in the two-phase version (model 722984) it is an impressively thin 73 mm.

The new LÜTZE power supplies feature various national and international approvals. These include UL, cURus CB Scheme and DEMKO, among others.
