The AIDAluna

On board the AIDAluna, 32 control cabinets equipped with the LÜTZE LSC system are in use. From there, the lighting in all public spaces such as restaurants, spa areas, discotheques, variety shows, sports and recreational areas are controlled. In order to create various light scenes, hundreds of LED lamps in the ceilings and walls are individually activated, switched, dimmed, or given different colours.

As a result of the cruise company's space specifications, the control cabinets have been equipped with the space/saving LSC system. Previously, about 25% of the devices had to be installed in the side panel, which meant that very complicated wiring work had to be performed. With the LSC system it was possible to arrange all of the devices in a single plane.

In other ships of the Celebrity series, switches, power units and the USB panel connector from LÜTZE are used; the latter is used by pilots in the Panama Canal to connect their navigation laptops with the ship.
